Avatar Lab is a virtual reality prototype by Broken Arcade. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it on Meta Quest.

Information We Collect

Avatar Lab does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information on its own servers.

If you choose to use Meta Avatars in Avatar Lab, the app uses Meta platform services to access the minimum Meta account and avatar information needed to display your Meta avatar in the app. This may include your Meta user ID, basic profile information, and avatar data made available through Meta's Avatar SDK.

How Information Is Used

Meta account and avatar information is used only to initialize Meta platform services and display your avatar inside Avatar Lab.

Information Sharing

Avatar Lab does not sell or rent personal information. Avatar Lab does not share personal information with third parties except as needed for Meta platform services to operate.

Data Storage

Avatar Lab does not operate a backend account system or database for this prototype. Any Meta account or avatar information used by the app is handled through Meta platform services and the Meta Avatar SDK.

Children's Privacy

Avatar Lab is not directed to children under 13. The app should be used only by people who are old enough to use Meta Quest and Meta platform services under Meta's applicable terms.

Changes To This Policy

This policy may be updated as Avatar Lab changes. The effective date above will be revised when changes are made.
